Hi, I’m Brad Thompson! Singer, songwriter and guitar player based out of Fort Worth, TX, USA. I’m available as a solo act (me and my guitar “Barbara”) or as a duo, trio, four piece all the way up to an eight piece band with a horn section. We can perform just about any popular stye of music out there – current hits, classic rock, Motown, 70's, 80's, dance, R & B, country, Texas country, and we write our own songs too. We love playing festivals, private parties, corporate events, fundraisers, weddings, high school reunions, birthdays, school functions and house parties.

Thank you so much Taylor! I honestly wish I worked there. The vibe is fantastic. And the view from the 14th floor is spectacular. Thanks for treating us so very well.

Brad and the band were not only amazing artists bringing SO much fun to our event, they were incredible people. Our not as usual event was made to be fantastic much because of the flexibility and willingness of the band to flex a little to make our guests feel comfortable and safe. Brad worked the crowd in such a fun way and everyone had a blast. They are just a World Class band and we will look forward to having them again at a future event. The big boss said, "put them on speed dial for our next event". LOVED them!

Aaaah! Thank you so much, Kathy! We can't leave out the fact that you built us a stage just for the party... and the exact size we had requested. It was perfect. And your property was amazing and your guests and friends were fantastic. We loved every minute of it. Kelly's BBQ was great and the accommodations were super too. Thank you for taking such great care of us. It was a real treat, we wanna give you 5 stars!

He made our party a big success and he’s energy is awesome! Highly recommended.

Thank you so much Suellen! It was a pleasure to meet you and your family. You were incredible hosts and you treated me so very well. The food, the dancing, the house... it was perfect. And your sweet in-laws were fantastic. Thank you again!

Brad has so much energy and became the highlight of the party! We were celebrating my parents’ 60th birthday and we asked for some classic rock, some dancing, and a little bit of country. Brad knew exactly how to deliver and performed with such flair. We will definitely use Brad again and sing his accolades if anyone else is looking for live entertainment. The night was fantastic!!

Response from Brad Thompson & The Undulating Band:
Thank you Maci, that’s very kind of you. I thought your friends and family were fantastic and your parents were just as cool as they could be. The pictures are great too!

Brad and his band did an excellent job. Communication was consistently on point. Reponses were fast and he was always accessible. His business demeanor is excellent as well - he understands the importance of customer service and makings sure he gets all the details right.
We ended up picking Brad since he was a referral of someone that we knew in the Ft. Worth area that said this is "our guy." We listened and previewed a bunch of bands and I'd say that Brad's band sounded great and was definitely on the high energy side. They play a bit of everything (Modern Pop, Country, Rock, Classic Rock, Big Band, etc...) and you pick from a set list on the songs that you'd like them to play. Add to that, they'll learn 5 songs of your choosing. I absolutely loved it...we had his band learn two acoustic Foo Fighters songs and a couple country songs and he hit it on the mark. We ended up going with a five piece.
Aside from just the band, Brad has all the gear to DJ and queue songs up (i.e. bridal party enters reception room, cutting the cake music, whatever it may be...) and he will also MC for you.
Would I do it all over again if I could? Absolutely. His band was stellar I plan on referring him to any other couples I know getting married. Heck if we have any family parties that are big enough I'd consider hiring him for those too.
Brad - you and your band rocked it...especially our private dance song. Can't believe you got that song down cold the way you did. Thank you for everything!!

Response from Brad Thompson & The Undulating Band:
Thank you Colin. That’s a super review. You guys were amazing too! We loved working for you and thought the whole evening was really awesome!

We had Brad Thompson be our guitarist at our small wedding and he was AMAZING!! The music selection that he provided was perfect for everyone at our wedding. He was enthusiastic, energetic, and was a great singer. We received compliment after compliment from so many of our guest. He was very professional and took what my husband and I wanted into account. Our wedding was definitely memorable and he was a huge part of it. Thank you Brad!!!

Thank you so very much Carla! You guys were so much fun - I had a blast playing for you, your family and friends. I wish you two the very best and I hope our paths cross again somewhere down the road. Thank you so much!

The Brad Thompson Band played for our annual lake party. We had about 65 guests ranging from teens to 60+. EVERYONE loved the band and had a great time. They played a wide range of music that appealed to all ages and kept everyone dancing and having fun. We can be a pretty selective group when it comes to bands. Brad Thompson Band did a great job and we hope they will play for us again next year!

About
Hi! I’m Brad Thompson.
I love playing music. My bandmates, crew and I work hard to make every performance our very best. And we can’t sit still. We love working on new material. We love planning the next “big thing” we’re going to do. We love working with people like you that have an event and a vision and are excited about seeing it come to reality.
For example, I’ve traveled to Puerto Rico just so my groom friend could surprise his bride with a wedding singer at the end of their ceremony on the beach – seriously, she had no idea! We’ve learned an entire evening’s worth of music from the 1920’s for a Great Gatsby-themed birthday party. We’ve played in barns, on boats and in penthouses. We love working with cities, non-profits, schools, fundraisers, brides & grooms and companies large and small. We’re thrilled that you found us and we hope that some part of our little area of the internet here has caught your eye (or ear).
Our mission is to fully embrace playing live music together and for you. We relish that time together. And we welcome all the trials, challenges and victories that come with it. The world of playing live music is rapidly changing and the ways that an artist can connect with their audience is evolving and redefining itself constantly. But what doesn’t ever change is connection. Connection between a performer, with a certain level of skill and earnestness, and the listener who can enjoy, respond and hopefully be moved by what is happening before them. That connection is what called each of us in this band to this occupation and we will never lose sight of that.
A little bit more about me…
Born and raised in Grand Prairie, Texas. Married to a medical illustrator. Watcher of classic movies like Beetlejuice, Ferris Bueller's Day Off and Forrest Gump, especially with my kids. Serious about playing Gaga Ball. Big fan of this band from NY called October Project – specifically their first two albums. Wrote my first song when I was 14. Heavy consumer of Takis and Slurpees from 7-11. Fan of Escape (The Pina Colada Song). Proud owner of a mini-van. Collector of books and record albums. Fan of brussel sprouts. Knows Karate. Holds an impressive high score in Galaga. Still has my entire Hot Wheels collection from when I was a kid. Successfully stalked Lyle Lovett on one occasion.
