The Bond Now Are hail from Blackburn and are a musical progression of previous incarnations Some Now Are and The Bond. Originally inspired by punk, post punk and the Manchester Factory/Hacienda scene, over time, elements of dance and ambient music began to seep into their music.

The Bond Now Are move from traditional to experimental, ancient to modern taking sounds and instrumentation from a wide variety sources, fusing the melodies that Inspired Country and Rock music with Mediterranean and Eastern sounds into a cinematic and lyrical framework that will move your feet and rock your soul.

Consisting of original band members Andy Mahon and "Luko GB" who have now collaborated with Tom Carr and Manos Sarantidis - The Bond Now Are will feature guest musicians drummer Paulo Franco (from Fenoid, MundoPardo), bassist Pedro Parreira and Box Music ́s Davis Sousa , who previously worked on the Malastrugança Project.

After recording at Boxmusic Studios, performing at Os Artistas, and showcasing on RUA (link hidden) FM in Portugal The Bond Now Are will play The Darwen Library Theatre on Friday 31st July 2015, the launch Concert for ‘The Gathering EP’.

The Bond Now Are will also play
the Kraak Gallery, 11 Stevenson Square, Manchester on Sunday 2nd August 2015.

The Bond Now Are take aspects of experimental , folk, world, progressive and soundtrack musics to create a unique, joyous, soulful and multicultural sound that will have you dancing on the streets of Manchester and the beaches of Europe.
