We can provide entire sound services for your event including equipment rentals, setup and tear down. We are more than just band, we can provide a full sound experience for your party, wedding, nightclub, casino or corporate function!

The Big Shiny Band has played played the Bowen Island Pub on several occasions. They always bring their A-game! Last time they played we had our best sales night EVER! They had the crowd going so good we almost had a mosh pit at one point. HIGHLY recommend! These guys will keep the crowd on their feet all night long!

Price Range: $800 and up
Gig Length: 45 - 180 minutes
What to Expect
The BIG Shiny band focus's on alternative rock released in the 1990's early 2000's era. We can perform single set shows for festivals and conferences, as well as provide evening entertainment for your Bar or Private Party.
All prices are negotiable depending on circumstances. If you are able to offer other forms of compensation (Meals, Drinks, Hotel rooms etc.) please send us a message!
This quotation includes:
1 - 4 sets of music ranging from 45 - 60 minutes with a 20-30min break between sets.
Max 3 hrs (180 minutes) of live performance per gig.
Stage instruments (Guitars, Amps, Drums, Vocal Mics)
Sound Technician if needed
Additional Equipment Available (Includes Setup/Teardown):
Front of House PA speakers (Mains, Subs)
Stage Monitor speakers
Audio Mixing Console
Stage/Drum Microphones
Stage Lighting
All cabling required for hook-up and operation of sound system
Detailed estimates for equipment rental/setup will be provided on a case by case basis.
PA/Lighting estimated cost:
Small Venue (100ppl or less) add $700
Medium Venue (100-300ppl) add $1500
Large Venue (300+ or outdoors requiring shelter/generator power) add $2500+
Travel/Expenses start at $500 per night for accommodations for gigs outside of the lower mainland, this is negotiable if hotels and or meals can be provided. Travel to Victoria Island is an additional $300 for travel time and ferry expenses.

4 guys from all over the country have come together to pay tribute to some of the most popular compilation CD's ever released. If you grew up in the 90's, chances are you came to school one day with a beaming look on your face knowing you had the new BIG SHINY TUNES album in your backpack. We would like to take you back to those days, when grunge was king.. cell phones were huge… and rock was dirty and loud. We are The BIG Shiny Band!

We can provide sound/lighting services for any venue/event Big or Small. We deal exclusively with Unity Sound Services in Vancouver, and are able to provide entire live entertainment solutions with their help!
