Guide to Booking Your Harp & Vocal Music
1. Envision Your Event
Begin by considering the atmosphere you’d like to create and the role live music will play in your celebration. Whether you’re dreaming of something romantic, elegant, or ethereal, having a general vision, along with a music budget - is a helpful first step.
2. Find the Right Artist
Take time to explore performers in your area. Listen to recordings, watch videos, and read reviews to ensure the artist you choose aligns beautifully with your style and event aesthetic. The right musician should feel like a natural fit for your day.
3. Reach Out for Availability & Quote
Send an inquiry to check availability and receive a personalized quote. Including details such as your event type, date, location, and timing allows me to craft an experience tailored specifically to you.
4. Secure Your Date
Once your date is confirmed, booking is simple. A signed contract and $100 deposit officially reserve your event.
• 50% of the remaining balance is due 90 days prior
• Final balance is due the morning of your event
After booking, I’ll connect with you to coordinate music selections and finalize important details.
5. Personalized Planning
We’ll discuss your musical vision, so every moment feels intentional and seamless. You may also coordinate with your planner or venue to ensure the performance space is ready (level ground and weather protection for outdoor settings).
Meanwhile, I carefully curate your setlist and prepare each piece with timing and transitions in mind — so everything flows effortlessly.
6. Your Event Day
On the day of your event, I arrive at least one hour early to allow ample time for parking, setup, and tuning the harp.
Then it’s your turn to relax, be present, and enjoy the beautiful soundtrack created just for you.

Sound & Performance Requirements
I’m happy to provide a professional amplification when needed, depending on the size of the space and whether your event is held indoors or outdoors. Some details may be required such as access to power/plug setting for added amplification. I’m always glad to help guide these decisions to ensure the best listening experience for you and your guests.
For outdoor performances, a few simple accommodations help protect the harp and ensure the highest quality music:
• The harp must be placed in full shade
• A hard, level surface is required for stability
• Coverage should be provided to shield the instrument from weather
The harp is a finely crafted instrument that is sensitive to temperature and humidity. To maintain its sound and structural integrity, outdoor performances are limited to temperatures between 55°F and 90°F.
If weather conditions become unfavorable, an alternate indoor (or appropriately covered) location will need to be available.
These guidelines allow me to deliver a beautiful, seamless performance while properly caring for the instrument.
