The Bad Mamma Jammas (BMJ's) are a hip hop band that came together while the members were students at Musician's Institute College of Contemporary Music. Their love of many genres influenced their style and even though they are a hip hop band evidence of blues, funk, jazz and even classical influences can be seen. The members of BMJ are from all over the United States and the world, with members from Poland, Jamaica, New York and even Arkansas!!! While at school studying their various instruments they decided to combine their love of playing live with their love of hip hop, and a live hip hop band was born. You may ask how they got the name The Bad Mamma Jammas and that's a great question....but one we'll have to answer another time!!!
We need space for drums, guitar amp, bass amp and keys. We also need microphones for four vocalists. Also a working PA is essential.
