Hey we’re The Backburners! We are a 4 piece instrumental funk band from Sacramento, CA. We have played all over Northern California and love what we do!
We are always ready to get the party started and get your feet moving. Our typical sets include classic funk music from the last three decades. We love bringing the sounds of killer funk groups like The Meters, Jive Turkeys, Booker T Jones, and more.
We are also quite versatile, easily transforming from a 4 piece band to a bigger crew with horns and even vocals for those songs that you want to sing your heart out to!
We can’t wait to get cookin’ and keep the party simmering hot all night :)
