Overview
My show appeals to all ages from the very young to the very old. As an expert at sleight of hand, I specialize in close-up magic and can dazzle and amaze right before your eyes and right under your nose. I don't do the standard tricks that other magicians do. I created all of the illusions that I perform in my show. Being a school teacher for many years, I am very good at grabbing children's attention. I am also a master balloon artist and I distribute my balloon sculptures to all of the children as a keepsake. For adults, I incorporate my hilarious comedy and do particularly well with the 55 plus crowd. My act is totally unique and I provide a once in a lifetime, unforgettable experience.

We absolutely loved Houdanny. We intended for the show to entertain kids ages 3-10 but within seconds all chairs were turned to enjoy his performance because he’s hilarious!
His jokes were great and his tricks were unique and educational. But he really wowed us with his ability to interact with children of all ages. They adored him - and didn't want him to leave!
What a great human and entertainer - we quickly shared his information with other friends and family because any event large or small would be unforgettable when he’s performing 🌟

About
From a very young age, I dabbled in magic. By the age of 12, I had joined the the I.B.M. (International Brotherhood of Magicians) and began doing magic shows professionally, mostly for kid's birthday parties. My father, who is a Rabbi, came up with my stage name: Houdanny. Interestingly, Houdini's father was also a Rabbi. When I reached adulthood, I became a stand-up comic. Never using profanity or off-color jokes, I prefer to be clean and clever as opposed to dumb and dirty.
Eventually, I got a degree in Nutrition. I also became an educator, teaching science and physical education. Now, I blend all of my skills and talents into a one-of-a-kind show. I combine the showmanship of Houdini with the passion of Jack Lalanne (considered the Godfather of Fitness, whom the Jumping Jack is named) to dazzle audiences while imparting a healthy message. I cater my show to any age group or demographic. I use humor to keep the adults laughing, while the children are mesmerized by the highly visual and flashy illusions.
I don't do the standard tricks that most other magicians do. I invented/created all of my illusions and you will never be able to figure out how they are done. Even other magicians are baffled and are unable to guess how my tricks are accomplished. Whether you are very young or very old, seeing my show will be an unforgettable experience.
