Artistic! Creative! Sophisticated face painting and balloon twisting for kids and adults! My name is Etsko and my work is not only fun but to WOW your guests because it's beautiful!!
I have been professionally entertaining at parties and fairs for 16 years in greater Boston area. I have variety of experience from face painting at kindergartens to night clubs, making balloons on cruise ships, outdoor events, restaurants and holiday parties. As a mother of two boys, I'm very patience and generous with kids. Anywhere people gather, I show up in a sharp stylish fashion and do what I love doing!

May 23, 2026We had the pleasure of having Color Me Funky join us at the DDS-sponsored Family Fun Day at the beautiful Museum of Science along the Charles River, and we could not have been happier with the experience. Color Me Funky was a true artist m, incredibly talented, patient, kind, and so supportive of the individuals with disabilities that we serve. They were wonderful to work with throughout the event and brought so much joy to the families and attendees. The face painting was absolutely amazing, and every interaction was thoughtful and engaging. We would absolutely call Color Me Funky again for future events and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a talented and inclusive artist for community and family events.

Having a birthday party and no idea how long you need to book me for? It depends on how many faces I paint. K, FYI, I paint up to 16 faces in one hour (3-4 minutes per face). I bring sample pictures of my top 20 popular face painting designs to choose from. It’s very helpful for kids to make decisions with pictures, but don't be shy to be creative! I have done many unique request like pizza, banana, cupcake, sports team logos, company logos, water bottle, anime characters, Chinese letters, tools, emojis, tribals, stitches, flags, movie themes…. Any requests are welcome!
My booking starts from one hour.
Etsko is a professional face painter residing in Cambridge, and performing across the Greater Boston area. She was raised in Japan and graduated from art school in Seattle, with a background in Asian brush calligraphy and graphic design. In 2006 she began painting faces as a weekend street performer in Faneuil Hall, which was the start of her professional career.
Etsko's philosophy is that the art of face painting begins with design. She starts with the customer's request, be it Butterfly or Batman, along with the color and style - like pretty, scary, bloody or sparkly. Then she applies her beautiful brush skills, guided by a detailed understanding of facial structure, color combinations and designer’s vision. She focuses on helping the customer to express their own "art" in the final work.
Etsko is comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and is used to serving long waiting lines. She has worked at festivals, fairs, corporate and family events, holiday events/displays, shopping malls, night clubs, cruise ships, private birthday parties and of course, Halloween makeup service. She uses only FDA approved paints and is fully insured. She has extensive experience with all ages, from preschool kids through adults, and is very good with kids who have special needs.
I ask you to provide me a table and 2 chairs. If you don't have any table or chairs available, I can bring my own table($10) and a couple of stools ($10) for additional cost.

Please provide me a table and 2 chairs. Good lighting is always a plus.
I have taken face painting classes by Mark Reid, Pashur, Wolfe Brothers. I attend Face painting convention every year to learn more about the latest tools and techniques. Besides face painting, I worked as a graphic designer in magazine publishing in Japan. I have modeled for art classes for 2 decades. I sculpt figures in clays and wax, I have done casting into bronze in lost wax method. I am an artist.
