Collin emcees the main stage for our nationally acclaimed roots music festival, Appaloosa. He's got great stage presence, does deep research on bands he introduces, has an ease and familiarity working with bands and production staff backstage, a great radio voice, and most importantly, he makes sure all our sponsors are taken care of and credited over the course of the event. Family-friendly and a great attitude are bonuses that make Collin an absolute pro who will raise the quality of any event you may have. Could not recommend him more.

What a wonderful experience everyone had at my daughter's wedding reception and much of it was due to the excellent music, the fun banter and remarks by Collin, and the way he kept things on track. I have a very large family so this was no small accomplishment! He was very professional while he herded cats :)

Collin was all over the details for our event. He helped keep everything on schedule while still letting the pace feel normal, never hurrying anyone along. He catered to our musical tastes perfectly, and played the room like an expert. He emceed the event with a radio quality voice on a great sound system. 5 stars!

What to expect
Having been a stage manager as well as MC for a large music festival here in Virginia, my experience will keep your event moving and on time!
Depending on the type of event, I like to engage with the audience, think on my feet and use my sense of humor to keep it light and entertaining.
About
I've spent over 20 years in radio (in multiple states) on both the programming and business sides. Over the decades I've dabbled in theater, television and have branched into emceeing music festivals and other large events over the last several years. With enough people asking me if I could do smaller, private events (wedding receptions, fund raisers, parties) I shelled out some $$ and got a really great PA system! (and a new sub-woofer...but don't tell my wife!)
Originally from Indiana, my wife of 25+ years, Andrea, and our 9 children have lived in Shenandoah Valley of Virginia for over 30 years (with a few years in KY mixed in there) and we plan to be here for the foreseeable future.
Additional booking notes
If I am providing the sound equipment and music, all I need is a good electrical socket and a good internet connection.
If I am MCing something like a music festival, I'll need a schedule and a list of who I will be introducing. If you have band Bio's that's great. If not, I'm used to researching and writing my own intro material.
If you want me to MC your gala or fundraiser, just basic info/history on the event or cause.
