Of course, solo work is my preferred area of expression. I generally only play alto saxophone for one hour cocktail parties, ceremonies and dinner parties, funerals. A 2-hour party deserves to have some tenor sax as well as alto to spice it up for your occasion as well as myself.
As 'Soloist' I use a very light setup consisting of a JBL Partybox 100 Bluetooth speaker and a tablet for background tracks, no cables or electricity needed.

I play appropriate music for any event. Never too loud for your guests to have pleasant conversation while dining, listening. I've been told that my music and improvisation stimulates conversation and a fantastic atmosphere.
TexSax came to New York in 1983 to escape the Texas heat and get some more broad, steady experience in the field of music performance. All types of bands, orchestras, ensembles, duos and solo work is right up my alley. I even play with DJs in any style at the snap of a finger. Cocktail hours, luncheons, nursing homes, funerals, memorials, wedding proposals and wedding ceremonies of any sort are my favorite specialties as I play along with background tracks and my own audio gear and am never too loud for your affair or event. Requests welcome!
I bring my own gear for amplification of background tracks from my laptop computer. I usually play 2 or 3 saxophones and some flute at the beginning.
