Meet Reverend Coolidge Montgomery

Reverend Coolidge Montgomery brings 25 years of ministry experience, a heart for serving others, and a deep commitment to the meaning of love and marriage. He and his wife, Shelia Montgomery, have been married for 42 years, giving him a personal appreciation for the commitment, communication, faith, and love that help a marriage thrive.

Reverend Montgomery attended Wiley College in Marshall, Texas, for two years. After accepting his call to ministry, he and his wife served together for four years as Directors of the Married Couples Ministry at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas, helping couples strengthen their relationships and understand the importance of building a lasting marriage.

He is the author of Speak Life of Hope and coauthor, with his wife, of Principles to a Guaranteed Marriage, a book that explores the true meaning of love from a biblical perspective rather than the changing standards of the world.

Technical Requirements & Service Details

Tex Wedding Officiant requires minimal technical setup, making our services suitable for a variety of wedding locations, including indoor venues, outdoor ceremonies, homes, parks, and restaurants.

Lighting: No special lighting is required. Adequate lighting is recommended so the officiant, couple, and guests can comfortably see and participate in the ceremony.

Sound: A microphone and sound system are not required for small, intimate ceremonies. For larger weddings or outdoor events, a microphone and speaker system are recommended to ensure guests can hear the ceremony clearly.

Staging: No stage or platform is required. A clean, accessible space with enough room for the couple and officiant is sufficient.

Setup: Please provide the ceremony location, scheduled start time, and any venue-specific instructions in advance. The ceremony area should be ready before the scheduled start time.

Wedding License: Couples are responsible for obtaining their valid marriage license and bringing it to the ceremony. Marriage license requirements and timing should be confirmed in advance.
