High energy country show

Hi, I’m Terry Douglas a father, husband and musician from Thornville, OH. I am originally from a small town in Northern Ohio, Lodi, OH.
I started playing music when I was 8 years old. My Uncle gave me my first guitar. As I grew older music was the one constant in my life.
I started out playing in a rock band in Akron, OH. After playing in a band as a guitar player I realized that
This was for me. But then ..
Life happened, I starting working in restaurants and later in IT and my dreams started to fade. I knew I had to do something. So, I picked the guitar back up and started playing, booking shows and most importantly writing.
I posted a few songs on Reverbnation and was contacted by a label to help me with marketing side of the release. Little did I know that was a blessing and a curse. I wrote all the songs for my solo album “Living the Dream” and released it in 2014. The “dream” quickly went south when the label did not do what they said they were going to do and went bankrupt. I knew that my next album would be an Independent release.
Meanwhile, I went about living my life, playing shows, married my dream girl and we have beautiful children. Life was going well and then I found myself drinking a little too much. I got in some trouble and that very next day I quit drinking.
I started to write, about my feeling, my experiences, and my beliefs and from that became my latest EP “Written in the Parking Lot”. A True collection of songs about life, love, and things that are real.
Nowadays, You can still find me out playing the bars and honkey Tonks. I am currently working on the next set of songs to be released at a later date.
