If you're looking for impact - a challenge to the audience - then choose a transformational talk. One is geared more toward business ("How does story solve our most pressing problems at work?") and the other is more individual / leadership / legacy focused ("The Documentary-Worthy Life").

If you're looking for something light-hearted, a "transportational" talk takes the audience somewhere. Teeg cycles through stories that illustrate lessons, but don't ask much of the audience. "Story snacks" that will delight the crowd, with film clips mixed in.

Transactional talks blend the two - they don't ask the audience to make major fundamental shifts in thinking, but they introduce the idea of Heritage & Legacy films, the importance of your own story, and offer the audience a choice: is this something I want to do? Yes, no, maybe?

Teeg also offers workshops on story, empowering participants to develop the stories that are most important to them, to help advance their goals and transform their lives.

Teeg Stouffer is a documentary filmmaker specializing in Heritage & Legacy Films. He is known for crafting honest films that tell the stories of families, companies and communities. As the founder of Fascination Film Studio and Acorns & Oaks Publishing, Teeg’s work centers on the belief that every life holds a story worth telling, and we’re creating our legacy every day. Teeg writes and speaks on the topic of Legacy and “Living a Documentary-Worthy Life.”

Teeg is a lifelong storyteller. He was introduced to film and media as a child actor in an after school television special, and had the unusual experience of being a morning radio host while in high school. He went on to help start the first all-digital student run radio station in America, worked at the BBC during study abroad in Oxford, and went on to a career in radio before shifting into other forms of media, events and experiences. He is an award-winner in a variety of media, and has produced, spoken or worked for Fortune 500 companies, with A-list stars in sports and entertainment, and as a subject matter expert for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. But he re-focused away from high-profile projects to turn his attention to the fascinating stories behind every door, and to help ordinary people tell their extraordinary stories.

He lives in Iowa with his wife, Amy, a former television producer, and their two adventuresome sons.

Teeg has spoken in small groups of six to ten people and on stages in front of thousands of people.

Flexibility is the name of the game; many event planners like to have a connected screen and audio to allow Teeg to integrate photo and film clips into his talks. After all, he's a filmmaker (and audiences enjoy the multi-media approach).

However, as a storyteller, Teeg is dynamic, and his talks do not require the ability to show film clips.

He is called upon to be an emcee or host three to five times a year.
