About
Born and raised in the gritty yet vibrant neighborhood of North Philadelphia, Theodore Ingram, better known by his stage name Teddy Mccray, always had a deep-rooted love for music. Growing up, he was surrounded by the sounds of the 60s through to contemporary tunes, which created a diverse musical foundation. Coming from a family of musicians, with four brothers who excelled in rap, Teddy was immersed in a world where music was a powerful means of storytelling. His brothers’ lyrical prowess painted vivid pictures of their shared experiences, and for a long time, this satisfied his creative urges. As his brothers transitioned to different opportunities, Teddy decided it was time to tell his own story.
