What to expect
Get ready for an inspiring, fun, and memorable tarot reading experience!
Here's my step-by-step guide for working together, whether we're at a party, event, or connecting online:
1. Let's Get Acquainted: We'll start by introducing ourselves and getting comfortable.
2. Your Tarot Journey So Far: Share a little about your experience with tarot. No worries if you're a seasoned pro or brand new—all levels are welcome.
3. Your Guiding Question: Consider a question or topic you'd like the cards to illuminate. It's a great idea to jot it down on the provided paper so we can refer back to it as we explore the insights.
4. The Shuffle & Select: You'll have the honor of shuffling the deck and choosing between three to ten cards that genuinely speak to you.
5. Unveiling the Wisdom: Together, we'll dive into the meaning and placement of each card, discussing what messages they hold for your question.
6. All Your Questions answered: Feel free to ask me anything that comes to mind throughout our talk.
7. Reflect & Capture: We'll summarize the reading, and you'll have the chance to take photos or document your selected cards as a personal keepsake.
8. Bringing it Home: We'll conclude by gracefully returning the cards to the deck, completing our energetic circle.
9. Gratitude & Release: We'll acknowledge our insightful work and release the space with positive energy.
10. A Warm Farewell: We'll end our time together with a handshake, hug, or bow—whichever feels most comfortable and fitting.
I can't wait to share the wisdom of the tarot with you.
Best regards,
Michael

Influences and inspiration
I have studied tarot for 25 years, with influences from Alejandro Jodorowsky, Kevin Jennings, Rob Brezny, and RJ Stewart. This knowledge enhances my creative director practice and teaching at Parsons School of Design and the School of Visual Arts.
At my design studio, we harness the transformative power of tarot to fuel a dynamic, process-driven approach that promotes creativity, collaboration, and experimentation. I dedicate careful attention to each project, working with clients ranging from musicians like Alicia Keys and RZA to Fortune 500 companies and cultural institutions such as the Smithsonian.
By tapping into the rich archetypal language of the cards, we cultivate meaningful partnerships grounded in mutual respect, continuous learning, and a celebration of diverse perspectives. This innovative methodology not only inspires fresh ideas but also drives impactful discoveries that elevate our work and the experiences we create.
I also present, serve as a panelist, and offer critiques at major conferences and educational institutions, sharing insights on Art, Design, and Tarot while leading innovation-driven workshops.
Thanks,
Michael
