What to expect
What to Expect
💛 Step One: Let's Meet
The best photos start with a conversation.
Once you inquire, we'll hop on a phone call or Zoom to get to know each other. Yes, we'll cover timelines, logistics, and all the important details, but I also just want to meet you.
People are three-dimensional. There are stories, personalities, family dynamics, and little quirks you just can't get through an email. I want to hear your laugh, learn what's most important to you, and understand how you want your day to feel. The better I know you, the better I can tell your story.
If we're a great fit, we'll make it official with a signed contract and retainer, and your date is reserved!
🗓️ Step Two: Planning Together
This is where the magic starts.
We'll build a photography plan that's tailored to your event. I'll help with timelines, family photo lists, important moments, lighting, locations, and anything else you need. If you've never planned a photo timeline before—that's completely okay. I've got you.
Need outfit advice? Wondering if there's enough time for sunset portraits? Not sure how to organize family photos? Send me the questions. I genuinely love helping during this stage.
🎉 Step Three: Event Day
Today's the day!
I'll arrive early, camera in hand, fully caffeinated, and ready to celebrate.
Sometimes I'm your biggest hype woman, cheering you on, telling you how amazing you look, dancing in the middle of the dance floor while getting the shot, and helping everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera.
Other times...
🥷 I'm a documentary ninja.
You'll barely notice I'm there while I'm quietly capturing the hugs, the laughter, the happy tears, the inside jokes, and the little moments that happen when no one thinks they're being photographed.
Family photos? We'll move quickly, keep everyone smiling, and get you back to your guests.
Kids? I love them. Grandparents? We'll probably become friends. Your aunts and uncles? Don't be surprised if we're laughing together before the night's over.
My job isn't just to take photos, it's to help you enjoy your event knowing every important moment is being captured.
✨ Step Four: Sneak Peeks
The celebration isn't over yet.
Within about 24 hours, I'll send you a handful of highlight images because I know waiting is the hardest part. You'll have beautiful photos to text to family, post online, and relive the excitement while everything is still fresh.
🖥️ Step Five: Your Story Comes Together
Then I settle in with a cup of coffee and relive your day from beginning to end.
Every image is carefully selected and professionally edited to tell the complete story, not just the biggest moments, but the little ones you didn't even realize happened.
Your full gallery will be delivered within 3–4 weeks through a beautiful online gallery where you can download high-resolution images, share them with friends and family, and order professional-quality prints.
💛 The Goal
When you open your gallery, I don't just want you to think, "Those are beautiful photos."
I want you to laugh.
I want you to cry.
I want you to notice moments you missed.
I want you to hear the music, remember the hugs, and feel like you're right back in the middle of it all.
Because years from now, that's what these photographs are really for.
About
Hey, I'm Tayler! 👋📸
I have two modes... and somehow they happen at the exact same time.
🎉 Mode One: The Hype Woman
I'm your biggest cheerleader. I'll be dancing in the middle of the dance floor with my camera, singing every lyric, celebrating your first kiss, yelling, "YAAASSSS!" when you absolutely nail a pose, and reminding you how incredible you look. I bring the energy because the best photos happen when people feel comfortable enough to let loose and have fun.
🥷 **Mode Two: The Documentary Ninja**
Then, without you even noticing, I'm gone.
I'm quietly documenting your grandma wiping away a tear during the ceremony. Your flower girl twirling by herself. Your parents exchanging a proud smile across the room. Your best friend laughing so hard they snort. The little moments no one planned but everyone treasures.
Those are the photos you'll come back to years from now.
👨👩👧👦 Families? I've got this.
Family photos don't have to feel like organized chaos. I'll wrangle the crowd, keep everyone moving, remember who's missing, and somehow get Uncle Bob to smile. Kids usually become my little sidekicks, grandparents end up telling me stories, and before the night's over I'm joking with your aunts and uncles like we've known each other for years. I believe everyone deserves to feel seen, included, and comfortable in front of my camera.
Kiddos are kind of my specialty. The shy ones, the wild ones, the sticky ones, the "absolutely not" toddlers, and my fellow neurodivergent kiddos, we usually become friends pretty quickly. I don't expect children to act like tiny adults. I meet them where they are, make them laugh, let them be themselves, and somehow still get the photo. Some of my favorite images happen in the in-between moments, when they're exploring, giggling, or showing me their latest treasure.
✨ My secret weapon?
Before becoming a full-time photographer, I spent more than a decade managing events.
That means I don't just take photos—I understand how events actually work. I know timelines, vendors, family dynamics, crowded schedules, and how to pivot when things don't go according to plan. I'll help keep portraits efficient, communicate with your planner and DJ, and make sure we capture what matters without pulling you away from your celebration.
Whether I'm photographing a wedding, sporting event, corporate gala, fundraiser, festival, comedy show, or community celebration, my goal is always the same:
Capture the feeling.
The loud cheers.
The quiet tears.
The dance floor chaos.
The stolen glances.
The hugs that linger.
The people who made the day unforgettable.
If you're looking for someone who's equal parts organized professional, documentary storyteller, and enthusiastic hype woman...
I think we're going to have a lot of fun together. 💛

Influences and inspiration
I'm inspired by photographers who prioritize storytelling over perfection. The documentary approach of wedding and event photographers, the anticipation and timing of sports photographers, and the connection and emotion found in photojournalism have all shaped the way I work.
Outside of photography, my biggest influence has actually been my background in event management. Understanding how events flow, how people interact, and how to anticipate meaningful moments has been just as valuable as anything I've learned behind a camera.
My goal isn't to recreate someone else's style, it's to create images that feel genuine, joyful, and full of life. I want my clients to look at their gallery and remember exactly how the day felt, not just what it looked like.
Setup requirements
• A finalized timeline and list of any must-have photos before the event
• A designated family member or coordinator to help gather people for large group photos (weddings and family events)
• Permission from the venue if photography permits or credentials are required
• Access to the event space and any photography-restricted areas (if applicable)
