Felix played overtop of middle eastern and Latin music he’d never heard prior to the event and it really livened the atmosphere. Good thing too as the music cut off at one point and he carried on helping create a continuous stream of music. Very tasteful and talented. Thank you Felix !

December 20, 2017Professional, Flexible, and most of all TALENTED!
To provide some context, the original drummer for my surprise proposal didn't end up working out. I basically had 1 day to find a replacement drummer who could learn 3 songs with minimal to no practice with the rest of the band. So you can imagine the stress I was under. I came across Felix on GigSalad, gave him a quick call, poured out my woes on the current situation, and with full confidence he assured me that it wouldn't be a problem!
He absolutely killed it!! Looked so effortless. It was as if he practiced with the band for a solid week. I can't speak enough on how proficient and professional Felix carried himself--definitely left a huge impression because it was a HUGE day for me! Talk about coming in clutch. So, if you find yourself in a similar position, this guy is your ticket!! Cool, calm and collected.... Professional, flexible, and most of all TALENTED + real down to earth!

About
BIO:
By age 14, Felix was a member and founder of several bands and was accepted to Etobicoke School of
the Arts as a music major. Through his high school years Felix started to earn his stripes in Toronto’s
music scene, finding and creating any chance to perform. He hasn't looked back.
Completing a Bachelor of Music Degree at Humber College, Felix studied everything from Jazz drummingto Cuban percussion to advanced recording and studio production techniques.
With diverse touring, performance, and recording experience, Felix's current work includes playing and
recording drum set with electronic dream-pop band, MUNE, signed to Culvert Music and playing
percussion with unique Word-Folk act Kitchen Orkestra. Felix has toured with acts such as Montreal’s
Look Vibrant, and performed at festival such as Pop Montreal, Hillside Festival, SappyFest, FME Festival, NXNE, CMW, and IndieWeek Canada.
APPROACH:
“I approach every project mindfully and commit specifically to every song and every moment: whether
it's grooving hard, laying back, composing drum/ percussion soundscapes, providing subtle textures,
playing alongside electronic beats, and everything in between. I put passion and love into music of all
genres and enjoy contributing intelligently to any musical experience. I always show up prepared but
with a natural ability to create and learn new things as well "
