Thanks, Noah! As it happened, most people were focused on food and drink during the first hour, however, after that, the news seemed to spread and then it was nonstop action. What a great bunch of people! The positive energy was electrifying!

When I come to a gig, I always come early if able, bring a table with and 36" diameter and two chairs. If it's evening, I'll wear a nice tuxedo, if during the day, a nice suit unless the tux is preferred. During the Halloween season, the Wizard costume is optional. Rather than being a spiritual event, this is a method of putting you in touch with your own subconscious, which can be both entertaining and enlightening. As I tend to be a very optimistic person, my readings tend along those lines without being of the "pie in the sky" variety. I begin by telling the person I'm reading, "Ask the cards a question, any question. Don't tell me the question. When we're done, you can tell me if the cards gave you an answer." That way, I'm not just telling the person what they want to hear. When I started reading the cards, I saw it as only a form of entertainment. After many amazing results, I was forced to recognize the value of these encounters for the person across the table as well as myself.

When I was learning how to read the Tarot, I referenced several books but found the best advice to be, "Find a method that makes sense to you." Hence, one thing I have done is to remove any possibility of card rigging or slight of hand. The cards are spread upon the table and the seeker picks them at random or by "feel" and places each face-up in my hand. Some readers will base their reading on whether the card is right side up or upside down. My readings only take into account which cards are in the vicinity. It ends up being a very descriptive story board when all eleven cards are in place.
I am a self-contained entertainment. I ask only that the party music is not too loud to speak comfortably across the table and that there is enough light to read the cards by.
