I specifically play the ragtime of Scott Joplin, (Early 20th century era-aka, "The Sting") and have been doing so for over 30 years. I have enough material to play up to 2 hours, and would be a great addition to your themed event, or any event to add light and lively piano ragtime music.

I can play a good solid 2 hours of Scott Joplin ragtime. It's mostly lively, happy music, and played at a decent volume-but I can tone it down if needed. It could be good background music, as it's all instrumental with no singing
I have been playing Scott Joplin ragtime almost exclusively since I was introduced to his material over 30 years ago and haven't looked back. It's pretty challenging material to learn- and although I haven't practiced constantly these last 30+ years, it's taken all that time to learn the Joplin repritoire I do know and enjoy so much
