Jason M. Bailey is a Musician/Performer/Composer in Orlando. Currently is a staff accompanist for the UCF Theatre Department. He recently arranged and orchestrated the new musical by Donald Rupe, From Here, and was the music director for its debut run at Central Florida Community Arts. He also composed the music the new interactive theatre experience, Bright Young Things, written by Donald Rupe and premiered in Orlando in October, 2020. Jason also teamed up with Donald Rupe as the arranger/orchestrator for Flying Lessons, which played Off-Broadway in July of 2019 for NYMF. Jason has music directed for a number of theatres and schools around Central Florida, including Osceola Arts, CFCArts, UCF, Rollins College, and Trinity Prep. He also has taught musical theatre classes for DPAC, Orlando Rep, and CFCArts. Jason is also a performer and has acted with a number of theatres across the country including Rocky Mountain Repertory Theatre, American Family Theatre, Chanhassen Dinner Theatre, Salem Repertory Theatre, and Central Florida Community Arts. Jason has also taught band, choir, and general music in middle and high schools. Jason also teaches private voice, focusing on musical theatre style, technique, and auditions. He recently graduated from UCF with his M.A. in Musical Theatre, focusing on Music Direction.
