I Love Paris

Overview

Swing Boutique plays jazz and swing with a French flair - we are a Parisian coffee house band. A very unique style of music that will add panache, style and that Continental "je ne sais quoi" to your event. Yes, it's jazzy but it's unlike any jazz you know - based on French and European jazz of the 1930's and 40's

About

Born in Prague, the city of a hundred spires, George has spent the last four decades living and playing music on three continents. He holds a music diploma from the Royal College of Music in London and a Master's degree from the University of Essex.

In late 2011, sponsored by the late great guitar legend, Larry Coryell, George relocated from Canada to the US and is now active on the Central Florida music scene: he works as a solo artist for Disney (mostly at the Port Orleans Resort in Orlando), he leads a jazz trio that is a fixture on the local jazz scene and most recently, he has put together SWING BOUTIQUE, a band specializing in what can best be described as "Continental Jazz" - anything from Django Reinhardt to Edith Piaf to musette waltzes.

In addition, George is a busy sideman with numerous outfits, and works in various recording studios around town, laying down guitar tracks for a variety of Central Florida artists. He also travels to Canada quite often where he performs with his six piece swing band, Bohemian Swing, most recently at the 2017 Toronto Jazz Festival.

George is a prolific songwriter and producer - his CD's are available through his on iTunes, Amazon and CD Baby and other outlets.
