Overview
Sweetwater Strings is an award-winning group of professional stringed musicians that specialize in wedding ceremonies, cocktail receptions and dinner music for special events. We play a wide range of music from classical favorites, jazz standards, Latin tangos and more! We can accommodate any event size and budget with over 8 ensembles to choose from and service any venue in Arizona and beyond. All of our musicians play and teach professionally and have their degrees in music performance. Check out our website for complete pricing, ensembles and over 40 sound samples! We now provide services for elopements or live streaming events and can comply with social distancing measures.

We booked Sweetwater Strings for our 2017 Easter worship service, and they were, in a word, amazing. They were prompt, professional, friendly, and sounded fantastic. They played beautiful welcoming music right outside our front doors as people entered the building. (You should have seen the kids, they were mesmerized.) They played Easter tunes along with our band during the service itself. And they ended the service with a collection of songs arranged for string quartet, including U2's "Beautiful Day" - a very memorable ending to Resurrection Sunday.
I recommend them without hesitation and am looking for another excuse to bring them back!

I reached out to Sweetwater Strings for my bosses 25th Wedding Anniversary. They were putting together a last minute surprise brunch for his wife. Eily was quick to always reply and was able to accommodate all the fine details needed to make the day special. Wow... I came across the Sweetwater Strings site and was reminded of my friends' wedding last March & I thought I should share a review with the general public out there.
Sweetwater Strings was there with beautiful music presented by 2 very talented violinists. Their selection of music was quite diverse and tasteful and just a complete pleasure to listen to.
What I want to know is, when are you guys gonna get up there and give a concert? I'll be there!!
I would recommend this group without reservation for any venue...they will make your party pop!!
We had a string trio from Sweetwater Strings play at our ceremony & cocktail hour - they were fantastic! Eily was so great to work with, and made coordinating this music so easy. She had helpful suggestions, and was flexible to meet our needs. The music was so beautiful and we had many compliments on how great it was to have this live music as part of our ceremony and cocktail hour. I compared numerous string ensembles for price and quality. I found the best value and felt the most confident in selecting Sweetwater Strings. I would recommend them to anyone getting married!

What to Expect
Sweetwater Strings provides live entertainment- our musicians provide their own music, music stands and equipment, with additional microphones and lighting available upon request. Your guests will be serenaded with a customized playlist which can be crafted from our thousands of music selections in all styles.
About
Sweetwater Strings started as a string quartet in 2007 and has now grown to a group of 20 talented string musicians who perform throughout Arizona for over 150 events a year. Our musicians' experiences range from the New York stage to the LA recording studio to ASU grads out of the doctoral program. Each one of our musicians is 100% professional, friendly and specializes in making your playlist of favorites come to life.

Set List
We offer thousands of songs in a variety of styles. For most wedding events we are able to play all the classical favorites as well as more modern love songs. For cocktail and corporate events we normally play a mix of classic rock, jazz and contemporary pop covers, sprinkling in some showcase classical and popular opera arias for those with a trained ear!
