Enter the Wonderful World of SweetFace Face Painting."
SweetFace Face Painting has been "Making Sweet Faces Even Sweeter" on & off in the Portland/Vancouver area for over 20 years.
I have done numerous company events, such as Comcast, Burgerville, and countless private parties. I was the official face painter for the Clark County fair for 6 years running as well as the face painter for the Amazing Graze Pumpkin Patch on Sauvie Island for 3 years until they closed down.
I LOVE painting faces. I use only professional, Hypo-allergenic face make-up.
Price Range: $75.00 to $150.00 an hour depending on the gig
What to Expect
I can paint up to 20 kids in an hour with cute little cheek art designs or stenciled tattoo like designs. I can do up to 10 kids in an hour with hand painted full-faced designs such as tigers, butterflies, masks, superheros, etc.
I have lived in the Pacific Northwest for about 40 years. I was born in New York and raised in LA around the entertainment industry where I dabbled in singing, acting and yes- even stage make-up. I have had many jobs in my lifetime- Mother, singer, actor, phone operator, administrative assistant, worship leader, and even pastoral counselor; but the job I've loved the most, by far, is face painting. I am now a grandmother of 8 who is very good with children. I can paint up to 20 kids in an hour with delightful cheek art designs or up to 10 kids in an hour with wonderful full-faced tigers, butterflies, masks etc. I do it all by hand and the results are always wonderful. And believe me, the kids aren't the ONLY ones who enjoy it immensely.
Influences & Inspiration
I started out in LA many years ago doing stage and theatre make-up and I loved it. I am always watching new videos by the biggies in the business like Mama Clown Marcella Murad or her daughter Heather. Not to mention Nick & Bryan Wolfe. Besides, over the years of raising 3 girls and now having 8 grandchildren I have loved having so many fun canvas's to work on.
