Overview

"Ahoy! Me hearties, be ye ready fer an adventure? Set foot on land wit' the famed swashbuckler, Sivad Skullduggery, on his quest fer buried treasure. Along the way ye will get t' experience the thrill o' pillagin' 'n plunderin' as ye learn wha' it takes t' become a real pirate."

The Swashbuckler Sivad is a characteristic pirate, complete with garb, attire, and yes, treasure. When he invades each event he will engage guests as he shares stories about life on the high seas, searching for buried treasure, provides pirate training, as well as posing for pictures and sharing some of his own treasure for all to enjoy.

With his ship currently in port, he's waiting for the orders to invade.

What to expect

No real pirate would invade just any regular event. A real pirate plots a course and is calculated and intentional in how to prepare for each individual invasion

What does a pirate treasure the most?
Treasure!
First, we need a map to find the treasure!
(ask me how maps can be personally crafted for each individual event)
Once I have the map, we go on a hunt for treasure.
Along the way they learn what it takes to become a real pirate themselves through stories that are shared about historical pirates like Blackbeard and Captain Kidd, among others.
Each pirate in training will receive weapons for battle and tools to help navigate the high seas, opportunities to have their face painted, learn the basic pirate lingo, and of course their fare share of the treasure.

Buccaneer Bootcamp (ages 3 - 10) is a beginners course in piracy designed to cater to future generations of pirates and Swashbuckler Studies (ages 10+) is designed to cater to the next generation of pirates.
The only difference between the two, aside from the ages of course, is the level of training that is received.
The young Bucs will receive foam swords so that we can practice dueling.
The Swashbucklers will receive a plastic sword, designed for a pirate with a better understanding of swordplay.
Each pirate receives a hat, eye patch, and a sword along with their fare share of the treasure.

Everyone can join in for games of Liars Dice, additional story telling, opportunities to learn a few sea shanties, and possibly even have a dance party.

There will be plenty of photo opportunities.

Happy pirating!
Looking forward to invading your next party or event.

About

As a high ranking British officer, I grew increasingly defiant and defected from the Queen's Army.
While making an attempt to settle along the Outer Banks of North Carolina, I turned to a life of piracy when I joined the crew of the Queen Anne's Revenge under the command of Edward Teach, famously known as Blackbeard. After a failed attempt to capture my own ship in Tortuga, I was marooned on an island off the Gulf Coast of Florida. I was rescued by turtle fisherman and settled in port near Tarpon Springs, where I took work on the docks and am known by many different names and alias'.
I am well educated and have better manners than other pirates and am typically better dressed.

In actuality, I was born and raised in North Carolina and developed a passion for the visual and performing arts at an extremely young age. I studied and participated in drama and chorus programs throughout my teenage years before eventually pursuing a career in the visual arts.

Influences and inspiration

As an entertainer and crew member aboard the Royal Conquest out of Madeira Beach, FL the enjoyment for performing and entertaining influenced me to further embrace my inner pirate and bring the same enjoyment that I get from becoming a pirate to those who are intrigued when they see a pirate.

Setup requirements

I enjoy hand-painting the treasure maps and making them unique and authentic for each individual event. If a customized map is wanted, I would need specs no later than a week before the event to prepare it.

Additional photography services are available and would require a secure spot (15' x 15') to accommodate props.

An area suitable for face painting, such as picnic table.
