Diane Swanson, CMP is a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) and has been planning and managing meetings and events for Corporations and Associations for over 20 years. A member of the Meeting Professionals International and has held several positons in San Diego, CA and Connecticut Chapters. Received the prestigious Meeting Planner of the Year Award for outstanding leadership and contribution to the Hospitality Industry from the San Diego Chapter of MPI.

She is a graduate of the Springfield Leadership Institute and the Institute for Organization Management at UCLA, the MPI Institute II for Event Management. And attended STCC for Business and Mesa College for Meeting Management.

Swanson Meetings & Event Planning, LLC was started in 2011 prior to that Diane assisted DevelopSpringfield, Inc., in organizing their office and coordinated their 2nd Annual Gala. Prior to that, (phone number hidden), worked for the Affiliated Chambers of Commerce of Greater Springfield, Inc. (ACCGS) as their Events Manager. While living on the west coast, Diane was the Conference and Meetings Director for the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, and coordinated all their meetings and events for a 25,000 membership organization for 14 years.
