Meet Chris Hall, the award-winning saxophonist known as SuperSaxy™! Voted the 2025 Favorite Horn by the Colorado Blues Society and named a Top Performer for Solo Sax in Denver 2025, Chris brings an unmatched level of energy, professionalism, and pure talent to every performance.

Chris's musical journey began with a series of remarkable achievements. As a high school student, he became the first wind instrumentalist from his hometown to secure a place in both the All-State Symphony and All-State Bands. His talent also earned him a spot in the National Youth Choir, culminating in a prestigious performance at New York's Carnegie Hall.

Following his passion, Chris enlisted in the U.S. Army as a professional bandsman, where he had the honor of performing for distinguished audiences, including former President George W. Bush. A true multi-instrumentalist, his versatility shone through as he mastered the clarinet, oboe, English horn, a full range of saxophones (alto, tenor, and baritone), keyboards, and even the fiddle. His technical expertise extended beyond performance; he also earned a certification in audio engineering and was instrumental in establishing the U.S. Army Sound School.

After his military service, the call of the saxophone remained strong. Answering that call led him back to his true passion and to a sponsorship with the renowned (link hidden). Chris has since captivated audiences across the country, from performing in "The Rat Pack is Back" show in Las Vegas to playing with top groups in the vibrant music scenes of Austin and San Antonio.

And the name? The iconic "SuperSaxy™" brand was born organically during San Antonio's Fiesta week, when a lead singer, blown away by his solos, dubbed them "super saxy." The name stuck, and Chris embraced it, creating a unique persona and logo that captures the heroic energy of his sound.

My goal is to make the setup process as simple and seamless as possible. I am self-contained for most events, but here are the basic requirements to ensure the best possible performance:

Power: Access to one standard, grounded (3-prong) electrical outlet within 25 feet of the performance area.

Space: A level, dry performance area of at least 6' x 6'. This provides adequate space for me and my compact sound equipment.

Sound System:
For most private parties, weddings, and corporate events (typically up to 150 guests), I provide my own professional, high-quality PA system. You don't have to worry about a thing!

For larger venues or events, I can easily plug directly into the house sound system or a DJ's setup. I am happy to coordinate with your venue manager or DJ in advance.

For Outdoor Events: To protect instruments and electronic equipment, the performance area must provide adequate shelter from direct sun, rain, and moisture. A covered patio, tent, or large umbrella is required. Performances cannot take place on wet or damp ground.

Staging & Lighting: Special staging or lighting is not required but is always a welcome addition to enhance the atmosphere. Any staging or spotlighting would be provided by the client or venue.
