About
Experience: A classically trained R&B/soul singer with deep gospel roots, she delivers powerful, emotionally resonant performances that leave audiences spellbound. With years of experience at weddings, corporate events, lounge sets, church services, and recording studios, she brings a polished, professional energy to every engagement. She sings both original compositions and crowd-pleasing covers – from Beyoncé’s anthems to Alicia Keys’ ballads and classic soul standards – always with impeccable vocal technique and rich, authentic soul. Trained in gospel tradition, her voice soars on hymns and praise songs, while her R&B setlists range from contemporary hits (H.E.R., Daniel Caesar, Jhene Aiko, Jazmine Sullivan) to timeless classics (Stevie Wonder, Anita Baker, Etta James). Her dynamic live presence, warm stage persona, and focus on high-quality audio ensure every event feels special. *She travels nationwide (and internationally) to share her music, adapting to venues of all sizes. Her biography and music samples showcase her versatility – she’s equally at home performing a heartfelt worship ballad or an upbeat Motown favorite.*
Additional booking notes
She’s happy to travel for gigs, but requires clients to cover travel expenses beyond her local base (Arlington, TX – zip 76017). For events outside a 2-hour driving radius, she charges a mileage fee of $5–$10 per mile (depending on vehicle and distance) to cover fuel, vehicle wear, and time. (For reference, Texas gas averages around $2.76/gal, and this rate also accounts for logistics.) For longer trips or when flying, travel arrangements are required: round-trip airfare (economy), ground transport, and accommodations for one. Hotels are typically estimated at $130–$170 per night for a clean, safe mid-range hotel near the venue. An advance booking or reimbursement is arranged: clients either include these costs in the gig quote or reimburse after.
Example Estimate: For a 3-hour drive out of state (300 miles one-way), the travel fee might be $2,000 (500 mi roundtrip × $4–$5/mi) – reflecting a van rental or shuttle overhead. Lodging for one night at $150 and a meal stipend completes the package. These rates ensure fairness – she covers nothing out-of-pocket beyond the booking fee.
Technical Notes: If the client can provide a quality PA, her travel fee is lower (just mileage). If not, she can bring her own system; in that case the audio surcharge covers gear plus transport.
If venue equipment is lacking, she can provide her own PA system and microphones (for an extra fee). (For example, portable systems like Bose L1 or Mackie HD systems can be arranged.) Professional PA rentals start around $150/day and can exceed $500/day for advanced setups; wireless vocal mic rentals run ~$75/day. To compensate for setup time and equipment shipping, an audio surcharge (typically $150–$300) applies when house gear is insufficient. Clients are informed that great sound is critical for the best experience, and any equipment shortfall will be met with a solution or upcharge to maintain quality.

(Sets are flexible – client can mix genres or request all originals. Sample set lists above illustrate her range.)
Influences and inspiration
Her sound is deeply rooted in the richness of gospel and classic soul, drawing influence from legends like Anita Baker, Etta James, and Stevie Wonder. Vocally, she channels the emotional depth and range of Fantasia, Jazmine Sullivan, and Alicia Keys, while maintaining the ethereal softness of artists like H.E.R. and Jhene Aiko. Her musical expression is also inspired by the modern textures and harmonies of Ella Mai, Daniel Caesar, and Solange. This blend of classic and contemporary influences creates a signature style that’s both nostalgic and refreshingly current — designed to move hearts, lift spirits, and leave a lasting impression.
Her gospel roots shine through with powerful influence from legends like Yolanda Adams, Kim Burrell, Donnie McClurkin, and The Clark Sisters. Inspired by the anointing and authenticity of Tasha Cobbs Leonard, Jonathan McReynolds, and CeCe Winans, she blends vocal conviction with modern soul. Her ability to move seamlessly between worship, praise, and heartfelt testimony reflects her deep connection to the spiritual tradition — delivering performances that don't just sound good, they minister.
Setup requirements
Her basic stage requirements are minimal: one sturdy mic stand, two monitor speakers (or one stereo system), and two power outlets. Ideally, the venue will provide:
Sound system: A high-quality PA with at least two speakers and mixer (e.g. JBL or QSC speakers, 400–1000W, with subwoofers for larger venues). Low-grade “plug-and-play” systems are not sufficient.
Microphones: One wired or wireless vocal mic (Shure SM58/SM7B equivalent) and a backup. A small vocal booth or enclosure can be helpful for recording sessions.
Stage: A small riser or cleared area (6x6 ft) is ideal; table or stand for her tablet/lyrics optional. A chair is available if needed (for slower numbers).
Lighting: Soft, warm lighting to highlight her presence (spotlight optional).
