Sundae custom-tailors song setlists, instrumentation and sound levels to bring an uplifting musical experience suitable for audiences of all kinds in venues indoor and outdoor, large and small.

Audiences can expect Sundae to create an enjoyable ambiance suitable for carrying on conversations and dining with friends, or a danceable, celebratory vibe, perfect for parties and social events.

Sundae can bring their own audio equipment if necessary (speakers, mics, etc.)

Sets can supply music for slot times of 30 minutes to 4 hours. Instrumentation features piano and/or acoustic guitar. Additional instruments can be added if needed.

Sundae is a dynamic musical duo led by talented multi-instrumentalist and singer/songwriter Jonathan and his wife, award-winning and charismatic singer/songwriter Desiree Beatty. Their music is a sweet blend of heartfelt pop and acoustic classics, creating an intimate atmosphere that spans both timeless and modern hits.

Their carefully curated setlist journeys through the decades, showcasing the soul of Al Green and The Temptations, alongside the contemporary sounds of Adele and Ed Sheeran. Sundae also intersperses a selection of their own exclusive original songs, making for a unique and memorable experience for listeners. They love to bring a fresh twist to well known high-energy songs, transforming them into soulful renditions that make every performance special.

Though they call Southern California home, Sundae has shared their music across the globe, performing on special occasions from Latin America to East Asia bringing a feel-good energy wherever they go. Whether playing in a cozy venue or at a grand event, Sundae delivers an unforgettable experience, leaving their audience with a sweet taste of joy.

We take 30 minutes to an hour for set up time beforehand, and another 30 minutes for tearing down after. Please include this factor in the scheduling process.
We request you consider giving us protection from the elements when necessary (typically an ez-up fits our needs).
If it is dark, please provide lighting.
We have our own equipment for sound, but we charge an equipment fee proportionate to the size of the crowd we serve in order to cover rental and set-up costs.

We allow our equipment to be used for speaking and announcements, etc. but be advised we are still "on the clock", and will charge for an hour of performance time, rounding up from the 30 minute mark, for time spent using our equipment. This is to compensate us for monitoring sound levels on our mixer's remote control to ensure the person speaking is able to be heard, and to avoid any technical difficulties.
