Hi, I'm Sumaiya.
I'm the artist behind Mehenndique, based in Toronto.
My love for mehendi began long before I ever imagined turning it into a business. Growing up, I was always the one applying henna for family and friends during Eid, weddings, and every special occasion. I loved it so much that if there wasn't a hand to practice on, I'd find myself creating designs on tissue paper, notebooks, or even cardboard—I simply couldn't stop drawing.

That childhood passion inspired me to turn my hobby into a profession. To build on my skills, I completed a professional henna certification course and founded Mehenndique.

Today, I specialize in elegant, natural henna designs for weddings, festivals, parties, and special occasions across Toronto and the GTA. My goal is simple—to create beautiful, personalized designs while making every client feel comfortable, confident, and part of a memorable experience.
