What to Expect
Provide customized music for any event! We provide Dynamic Performances by the band with audience interaction to include special song selections and special announcements, and any other special event needs. We can also mellow the show with an acoustic show as a four piece, 3piece, or acoustic duo!
Our band is so versatile, we can pull off just about any request as long as you give us your list in advance of up to 5 special request songs to allow us ample time to prepare for your event.
We perform your choice of up to 3 / 45-minute sets, or 2/ 60 minute sets!
We can also perform 1 set opening acts as needed for other performers with backline set up in place.
About
Stylus Down, a 5-piece cover band based out of the picturesque Boise Idaho! Our lead vocalist Crystal Arnold leads the band with her powerful vocals and range! We bring high energy, fun, professionalism and expert sound to each and every show!
Each band member brings a plethora experience from many musical genres from Rock and Roll, Glam Rock, Alternative Rock, Hard Rock, Psychedelic Rock, New Wave, Post Punk, Grunge Rock, and Funk Rock and even a few Progressive Rock, Southern Rock, and a bit of country favorites!
We like to say... "We have all the Rock You Need!” Party down with Stylus Down! Servicing all of Idaho and parts of Oregon, Utah, Nevada and Montana!
Additional Booking Notes
Our set up takes from 45 minutes to 1.5 hours. We bring what is needed for each and every venue to be a success! We have our own PA, Speakers, Subs, Monitors, rugs, and all musicians bring their own amps depending on the space! We need to be assured that there will be enough power to plug into for any venue and most often like to come take a look of the layout and space provided so we are fully prepared.
We bring our own gear, chords, mics, amps, extra batteries. etc... and our setlist is digitized on cell phones or iPads. We can provide light kits if needed and prefer to know your space limitations and dimensions in advance to plan accordingly.

We have more than 120 songs to choose from to perform for any venue. We prefer to ask for you to reach out to us to provide us with your preferences. We will then send you a list of songs to select from to customize our set list for your event after booking.

Influences & Inspiration
Soooo many amazing influences have been a part of this band's journey. We all have so many various backgrounds with music! I love all kinds of music as the lead vocalist, however, this band kind of takes a bit of a departure from the traditional songs you'd think a girl needs to sing! I prefer to choose songs in my vocal range, however I also love the 70's era, think of Led Zeppelin, and all the big hair bands from the 80's, I love me some Ozzy Ozborne, and then you hit the 90's and think of Radiohead, STP and Chris Cornell! We do a little bit of everything including some country with Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood and some harder edge rock as well with Foo Fighters and A in C along with Offspring! Throughout any of our performances, we are aware of the audience mostly. What does our crowd want to hear!? We cater to that for each and every show!
