Rated #1 in the region by REVERBNATION. Featured in CBS Charlotte's "Best Bluegrass Bands"
We travel throughout the region singing and playing traditional and original gospel music in a southern style. Performing all live music, we accompany ourselves with authentic acoustic instruments. A rhythm guitar, 5 string banjo, resonator guitar and upright bass provide a rounded instrumental ensemble to back up to the vocals. We perform old standards as well as our own original songs.

I very much enjoyed Strings of Victory.
I appreciate their talent, but even more so, their spirit in serving the Lord and ministry to the local church. They were a blessing to us here at Welcome Church of God and I know they will be a blessing wherever they go!
It's not often that I am in a church service where I don't preach. As a pastor that is part of my job description. However for two years in a row my church has hosted a Bluegrass Gospel Service and invites Strings of Victory to lead it. I don't have to preach because they bring the gospel through their music and both times it was wonderful and uplifting. I plan on having them every year going forward.
Strings of Victory were just amazing! They played during a church worship service and all songs were appropriately chosen and the congregation loved them. We will definitely be asking them back next year!
Strings of Victory has been to New Hope for Kids 2 times now bringing their great talents of instruments and songs to us and everyone loves to hear the old fashioned bluegrass gospel music they play. Besides their talents of music speaking with them before and after the performance was a blessing as well. They are great people to talk to and they genuinely care about the people they are singing to! They will be back to our program soon!
The music and singing were excellent. Very good musicians and instruments.
We (First Baptist Church of Kannapolis) had "the Strings" participate in our annual OIAM (operation in as much) Day in May. The guys were fantastic, playing and singing lots of their own material. We had many positive comments made by those attending the Song Service that day. Everyone is really looking forward to having the Strings of Victory perform for us again soon!
This band came to my church a while back and when they were done all I wanted to do is to go see them again!!!! the songs are different but great!!! all the guys are very nice!! the young man Aaron sings some great tenor and won me and my husband over with "steal away and pray". Bless all these guys! and go see them when they come to your town!!!!
This group was hired to perform for a graduating group of Army chaplains. I was a guest. I like bluegrass music, but seldom like every song by any particular artist. This group was an exception. They played some familiar tunes and some I had never heard before, but every single one was great. They have a nice variety of songs. I can't wait to go and hear them perform again.
Strings of Victory provided music for our 61st annual "Love" family reunion. Their music was great and all enjoy it very much. They love the Lord and it shows in their music and vocals. There was all ages at the reunion from 2 months old to 88 years old and everyone commented how they enjoyed the group.
When you looked around, people were singing and bouncing the feet with the music. They will be invited back again! May God continue to bless their ministry because that it was it is.
Strings of Victory came and played at our retirement community for our anniversary social. Our residents really enjoyed their performance. They were on time, professional, personable, and thoroughly entertaining!
What to Expect
The Strings of Victory performs traditional gospel music, hymns, Southern Gospel and original gospel songs in a traditional style. Some songs have more of a blugrass sound while others sound more like vintage southern gospel music. We also perform some secular bluegrass instrumentals where the venue allows.
The group performs at a veriety of events:
Many, Many more....we've done them all and enjoyed each one
In worship services where it is appropriate, a word of testimony or even a brief message can be provided.
In less formal settings such as picnics, outdoor fund raisers etc. some traditional bluegrass songs which are not gospel numbers can be performed as instrumentals.
We have found that in some situations such as family reunions, it is best to provide background music instead of trying to command people's attention while they are preoccupied with fellowshipping with others. In these cases we simply play instrumentals and take requests.
In addition, we can provide solo instrumentalists for banjo and guitar for events.
Strings of Victory respectfully declines to perform where alcohol is served.

Thanks so much for bringing your music to us"

"The music was heart warming and enjoyed by everyone."
-Eastside Baptist Church, Sumter SC
"This group specializes in live performances and takes
pride in its unique authenticity. This authenticity includes
the ability to passionately entertain its followers with
all-acoustic instruments, with an excellent track record to
go with, as a result of various successful appearances
around the South. This is definitely a group worth checking

The Strings of Victory group started as a musical outreach
ministry. The group started in 2004 performing as the
Singing Deacons when a small group of Deacons gathered
for singing and fellowship. From that simple beginning, God
blessed the men with a calling to a ministry
through the music they loved so dearly.
After seven years touring the North Carolina Piedmont, the
decision was made to make some changes in the ministry to
enhance the product and increase the effectiveness. A name
change to the Strings of Victory was part of the changes. We
continue to travel throughout the region singing and playing
traditional gospel music in a bluegrass style. Performing all
live music, we accompany ourselves with authentic acoustic
instruments. A rhythm guitar, 5 string banjo, mandolin and
upright bass provide a rounded instrumental ensemble to back
up to the vocals. We perform old standards as well as our own
As one of our songs mentions, "this world is not my home, I'm
just a passin through" we look forward to eternity in the
presence of our Savior. "What a Day That Will Be!" Until that
day our plans are to be good stewards of the talents God has
given us. We feel the best way to do that is to provide
Christian entertainment, praise, worship, testimony and the
Good News through music.
