Strings were a great addition to this event. They were absolutely perfect for the party, although all of us battled incredible weather for this outdoor event. Intermittent rain, high winds, pollen, no-see-ums and yet Strings delivered for us and our guests.

About
Strings of the Heart is the musical collaboration of Jimmy Wolling and Lynn Geddes-Wolling, a passionate duo from Savannah, Ga. Blending the intricate melodies of sitar with the rhythmic heartbeat of tabla, they create soul-stirring music rooted in Indian classical tradition.
Trained in India under masters of the Banaras and Farrukhabad Gharanas, Jimmy and Lynn perform traditional ragas-melodies tied to time, season, and healing energies-infused with their global influences, including Hindustani, World, Indian Groove Vibe, Romanticism, and even the Beatles.
Their performances are immersive musical journeys that evoke emotion and connection-perfect for recitals, concerts, celebrations, and sacred events alike.
Additional booking notes
Our instruments do not do well in cold weather. They do not stay in tune when it is too cold. We are pretty self-sufficient with equipment. Depending on the size of the venue we may need additional lighting and sound.
