String FX is an all girl group of string players committed to unique, modern and luxurious live music design for weddings and events. Although we enjoy the traditional, classical string quartet format, we are equally passionate about imaginative arrangements, contemporary playing styles, and genre bending. We believe that live music is an experience. We pay careful attention to every detail of our performance including both sound AND look. We meticulously curate our setlists, invest in costuming and fashion, and invest in technology and equipment that bring the best to our clients and their guests.

Our pricing may be higher than our competitors. This is because we run this as a licensed and insured business and we pride ourselves on having the resources needed to do a great job. We have coordinated and performed at hundreds of weddings under several large booking companies and learned that the most important factors in providing the best experience is to both sound and look fantastic. We take great care with our preparation and appearance, are active in our local events industry through attending educational conference and participating in community leadership.
