Shannon Nelligan, CMP, founded Strategic Event Consulting to help organizations grow their events with her entrepreneurial spirit and event management expertise. As a life long learner, you can count on Shannon to be up-to-date on the latest industry practices.
She is an industry veteran with experience managing multiple types of events from large family friendly conferences with multiple off-site optional events, large non-profit professional learning events, symposiums, fundraisers and board meetings. She especially enjoys reviewingevents to see where an organization can grow event with attendance and sponsorships.
Shannon enjoys giving back to the industry by teaching other professionals about event marketing as they study for their Certified Event Professional Certification.
In her free time, she is an Adjunct Professor of English for the College of Southern Maryland.
