What to expect
A 30 - 45 minute set consisting of 12 - 14 songs. Some familiar from the 60's and 70's and some of my originals -composed from poems. No profanity. Just a man and his acoustic guitar telling stories through song.
About
Hey there! My name is Roy and I love music and playing it for people - I'm glad you're here. I live in Toronto and have been playing and creating music for over 40 years. I started out as a drummer and helped provide the heartbeat to many bands over the years and had a heck of a time doing it.
Over the last 13 (lucky) years, I've immersed myself into the guitar world and have fallen in love. I have been writing and recording songs and have just recently finished a 5 song EP called Stort Teller, you can find this on YouTube. Along with my original songs, I have some fun mixing covers with covers - like Elvis and Michael Jackson, can you believe it?! I have been a teacher; implementing a drum program with the kids over @ Regent Park Focus, some moons ago, and also a student learning my way around the guitar, even buskering as a TTC musician in 2015 till 2018.
I have a mean 45 minute set of originals and covers that I want to share with you! Guaranteed to get your feet tapping and your hands clapping. Available every weekend, looking forward to hearing from you.

All my equipment is battery operated. I have an acoustic electric guitar, a mic, a chair and small 100 watt amp.
