What to expect

From the first downbeat, Stone Rock delivers a full 1980s rock experience — not just a cover set. Expect full costumes, big-hair wigs, and the stage presence and theatrics of the era, backed by note-perfect musicianship.

The show is built around songs your guests already know every word to, paced to build energy and keep people on their feet. We read the room and adjust — more party anthems for a dance crowd, more arena classics for a listening room.

We're professional, punctual, and easy to work with: we arrive early, set up efficiently, dress the part, and finish on time. Guests consistently tell us it's the most fun they've had at an event all year.

Show formats:

The Ignition — 50-minute high-energy party set
The Main Event — 90-minute full concert experience
The All-Nighter — full evening, three sets

About

Stone Rock is Toronto's premier 1980s glam and arena rock tribute band, delivering explosive, high-energy shows that transport a room straight back to the golden era of big hair, big riffs, and unforgettable anthems.

We're a six-piece of seasoned musicians who deliver the iconic sounds of Bon Jovi, Whitesnake, Van Halen, Journey, Def Leppard, Billy Idol, Loverboy, Poison, and Foreigner — note-perfect, in full costume, with big-hair wigs and the theatrics to match.

Stone Rock has rocked stages across Southern Ontario, including the Conrad Centre for the Performing Arts in Kitchener, The Rockpile in Toronto, Maxwell's Concerts and Events in Waterloo, Revival Nightclub in Toronto, and Burlington Ribfest, along with corporate and private events.

Whether it's a corporate gala, festival, club night, or private celebration, we scale the show to your event and bring the party to life.

Additional booking notes

Stone Rock is a six-piece: lead vocals, lead guitar, rhythm guitar, bass, keys, and drums. We carry our own instruments, amps, and drum kit.

We can perform fully self-contained — providing our own PA and stage lighting — or work with your venue's existing sound and production, whichever suits your event. Just let us know at booking and we'll scale accordingly.

We run our own in-ear monitor mix from a Zoom L20 on stage, so no monitor wedges are required. We also provide an XLR splitter that feeds all stage sources to front-of-house and to our own console, which makes setup fast and straightforward for your sound engineer.

Based between Toronto and Waterloo Region, we perform throughout the GTA and Southern Ontario, covering anywhere within about 90 minutes of Toronto or the Kitchener/Waterloo/Cambridge/Guelph area. This includes Hamilton, Burlington, Oakville, Mississauga, Brampton, Barrie, Niagara, Brantford, Woodstock, and Durham Region. Longer-distance bookings considered on request.

Load-in and setup takes approximately 60-90 minutes, with about 30 minutes for teardown. A full stage plot and 19-channel input list are available on request.
