Strolling Magic
Magic that mystifies the mind, enriches the soul and enchants the heart.
The magic I specialize in is called close-up sleight of hand magic; it works very well for events where strolling and interaction with many guests is needed. I also perform a stand up sleight of hand magic show for larger audiences.
I engage the audience with impossible magical feats up close and personal. The magic is interactive and creates a very fun and very memorable occasion.
I have been performing professionally for over 40 years and just recently returned from Las Vegas where I was the resident magician at the very family oriented, Excalibur Hotel and Casino.

July 27, 2026Stephen Paul Carlson performed close up magic for our family reunion and held the attention of young and old. He was so engaging that many of our family members ignored the open bar and the appetizers in favor of watching his performance. He was professional, on time and exactly what we had hoped for.

October 23, 2025Steven was well-prepared and an amazing addition to our corporate party. He added the perfect element of magic to our spooky event. Steven did a great job at entertaining guests with his strolling magic (mostly card tricks) for our guests seated at tables. Would definitely hire Steven again!
