Steven Harz is a solo singer and acoustic guitarist active in Southern New England. Shows are tailored to the venue or audience, but can include classic country songs, as well as acoustic versions of 70s, 80s, and 90s pop and rock (ever hear "Girls Just Want To Have Fun" as an acoustic ballad...?). Artists covered include Kris Kristofferson, Willie Nelson, Miranda Lambert, as well as Fleetwood Mac, Miley Cyrus, Phil Collins, and Nirvana (Some shows, by request, are more geared towards original songs). The event is always filled with great music and some laughs.

Hello - I am very self-sufficient and take up very little space, making me available for venues of all sizes - either house parties or bigger venues.
Steven Harz is a Connecticut-based singer-songwriter-musician, formerly of Nashville TN.
Having been and award-winning poet, and a lifelong lover of music, the natural progression was to sway into the singer-songwriter lane. Steve has now been on this path for 5 years.
Throughout the year, Steve plays a variety of shows and venues - some are at bars, restaurants, breweries, and wineries - and some are solo shows where he focuses on his own original songs. In 2023, Steve played sold-out shows at The Buttonwood Tree Performing Arts Center as well as The Cantean - he has been asked to return to both venues in 2026.
Performance style is mellow pop, country, folk - with a dip or two into rock. Steve uses both acoustic (Martin) and electric (Telecaster) guitars during performances.
