What to expect

The Sterling Silver Band will get you up to dance with a super variety of songs and styles ranging from The Beatles to ZZ Top, Patsy Cline to Linda Ronstadt, Creedence Clearwater Revival to Pink Floyd, and lots more. Since we bring our own PA and lights we can provide sound and lighting for your event too. We use tracks to provide a full, classic band sound, and we've designed our stage show to be as quiet or loud as you need. You can also hire us as an acoustic trio if that's more like the vibe you want.

About

Sterling is an award-winning performer with over 30 years of work in music, theater, and performance arts. For many years he performed professionally with bands, trios, and duos and as a solo artist in clubs all over the Seattle area. During his time in Europe he performed award-winning roles in theatrical plays and musicals with the Army Morale, Welfare, Recreation and Family organization. Since returning to his Washington DC area home, he has partnered with renowned belly dancer and snake charmer Nimeera Nazmine to produce multimedia performance art. More recently Sterling has partnered with popular drummer Orlando Mozzano and the incredible vocalist Peg Doyle to form The Sterling Silver Band, performing classic rock, blues, country, and pop hits from the 1950s through 2000s.

Additional booking notes

For the full band and lighting setup the stage should be 15 feet wide and 10 feet deep, with a ceiling height of 9 feet. This will accommodate a full PA system and speakers, lighting stands and overhead truss, Orlando's drum kit, Sterling's guitar station, and Peg's percussion station. We can work with different dimensions that are about 150 square feet total.

For the acoustic trio the performance area should be 10 feet wide and 8 feet deep. This will accommodate a small drum kit, small PA system, and percussion.
