Hoagy Carmichael’s “Memphis in June”
Hi, I’m Stephen Kelly and I’m a singer and keyboard player. I grew up in the era of rock and roll but I also loved the swinging, jazz-flavored music enjoyed by my parents and older brothers - the music of the 20’s, 30’s & 40’s, the era of the Great American Songbook. These songs are really great for holiday gatherings and I have sets ready to go for the holidays.
I would love to perform these songs, or more contemporary ones, live, in person, for your senior facility or house party (in the San Diego area) or anywhere over the internet via Zoom. For in person engagements, I can bring my own keyboard, microphone and small speaker.

November 23, 2024Stephen Kelly is a master keyboardist. His sweet soulful voice penetrates and soothes with clarity. An hour spent with Kelly is transformative. His American songbook reaches into the depths of yesteryear. And his original and unique interpretation always leaves one wanting more.
