Overview
Julie Kim is an international touring headliner and one of Canada's top comedians. She toured across North America with Ronny Chieng (Daily Show with Trevor Noah, Crazy Rich Asians), and was a gala performer at Just for Laughs in Montreal. She's been on every major Canadian comedy festival with multiple TV appearances. Julie was a writer and producer for Simu Liu (Marvel's Shang-Chi) as he hosted The JUNO Awards in 2022. She returns as Simu's producer and writer for 2023!
Julie's corporate work includes comedy, motivational and keynote talks, and event hosting. Clients have included HSBC, Accenture, Rogers, Cenovus Energy, Ontario Medical Association, Mortgage Professionals Canada, + more.

Julie Kim was absolutely hilarious, she had everyone belly laughing and crying they were laughing so hard. She gives a refreshingly honest and hilarious take on her marriage and raising a kid in Vancouver.
She brought along with her Ola Dada and Charlie Demers who kept the laughs coming with witty and entertaining content.
We will definably be hiring them again for our next event but this time... for twice as long! They all left us wanting more of their sets.

Julie spoke at our virtual conference as our keynote speaker in October 2021. Before the conference, Julie met with me on a couple of occasions to really understand the purpose of the conference, our audience, and what we wanted to achieve with the keynote presentation. Julie listened to our needs and put together a presentation that really delivered. We received such positive feedback about her presentation and how it really hit the marks. Julie was an incredible asset to our event. We hosted a lunch for our hotel and liquor conference and were looking for a fun way to set the afternoon apart. Hiring Julie to was a no brainer and we are so glad we did! She performed a 20 minute set and tailored her content to our audience. She was absolutely hilarious and was a highlight of the lunch. We hired Julie for a 'person-on-the-street' project for a F500 company. She interviewed executives and held the perfect amount of humor as she engaged with pre-selected business travelers. I would highly recommend her for any corporate event...or stand-up gig. She's hilarious!!

I have full confidence booking her for headlining gigs, showcase sets and MC spots. Julie has also opened for some big names at the club, like Fortune Feimster and Steve Hofstetter, and was a great pick for both.

This year our 12th Annual Women in Business Workshops was honoured to have Julie Kim as our entertainment. Julie had our diverse audience, from teenagers to seniors, laughing out loud at every joke for 45 minutes. Even though most of her show looked at life from a woman’s perspective some of the loudest laughs were from the men in the audience. The only sad moment of her show was when she said good night.
