Stan Miller Jazz

I have been a saxophonist for over 50 years and vocalist for the last twenty-five years. I started private lessons at age 9 and also learned to play piano, guitar and bass. Getting my first taste of performing in junior high school, I have since done thousands of performances. I feature a variety of vocal selections including Standards, Blues, R&B, Pop and Latin. My instrumentals range from Swing, Be Bop, Straight Ahead Jazz, Smooth Jazz and Contemporary. Though specializing in the ‘Standards’, my repertoire has grown to include everything from ‘Billy Joel’ to ‘Billie Holiday’. I feature many songs by Sinatra, Nat ‘King’ Cole, Johnny Hartman, and Mel Torme, as well as Al Jarreau, George Benson and Luther Vandross. My instrumentals include Swing, Be Bop, Straight Ahead and Smooth Jazz.

I have been a regular performer at Gervasi for over ten years. I have also performed numerous times on Cleveland Fox8, The Cleveland House of Blues, The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Vintage Ohio Wine Festival.
I regularly perform at restaurants, country clubs and wineries in NE Ohio and Western PA.

I provide all my own sound equipment and lighting if needed for most situations where the audience is up to 400 people.
