I am a singer, songwriter, musician and artist based in Myrtle Beach South Carolina. I perform a variety of music ranging from blues, jazz, pop, country and top 40. I play acoustic and electric guitars and the use of backing tracks gives my show a full sound that can be tailored to your needs. Whether your event calls for light acoustic ambiance or more upbeat dance music I can accommodate both. No matter if you own a restaurant, coffee house or hosting a backyard party your event deserves the best quality live entertainment.

September 15, 2025We come down to North Carolina every year and make a specific trip to Dublin winery to see Stan James on Friday afternoons for our ED Fridays. He’s a great entertainer exchanges with the crowd and is a lot of fun. I highly recommend him for anything that you would like music for.

STAN JAMES GREGORY is a singer, songwriter, musician and artist based in Myrtle Beach South Carolina with roots in the mountains of North Carolina and Music City USA - Nashville Tennessee. Growing up singing with his parents in church Stan learned how to carry a harmony and he also gained valuable studio experience as a demo vocalist for various recording studios in Nashville. Stan has proven his skills as a lead vocalist and guitarist playing with many bands in genres ranging from gospel to country, rock/pop and blues. With critical acclaim for Male Vocal Performance in Nashville's Music City Song Festival, Stan has also earned the respect of his peers. Stan entertains audiences with his outgoing personality and his never meet a stranger attitude.
