Stamati Arakas
Overview
I play with bands, DJs, lounge acts, etc. I am well versed in most styles of music: from rock to jazz fusion to samba to metal to dance/electronica. I do sit-ins and I've done long stints with bands where we've collaborated as well. 26 years old and have samples of me drumming on recordings and videos. Willing to travel if price is right.

What to expect
A lively display of showmanship, talent and exuberance while performing. Very personable and easy to talk to as well.
About
I have been playing drums for fifteen years. I moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in music, so I essentially live to drum. I studied under Columbus Percussion's owner and teacher Jim Rupp in Columbus, Ohio while attending Ohio State University. I do all gigs from rock shows to weddings. Always come prepared and dressed for success.
Influences and inspiration
Drummers to influence me: Buddy Rich, Billy Cobham, Jon Theodore, Dave Elitch, Chad Smith, Bill Ward, Bernard Purdie, Mitch Mitchel, Bonham are my essentials.
Groups: Anything John Frusciante has touched, Ke$ha, Phil Spector, Elvis Costello, Fiona Apple, The Carpenters, pretty much will give anyone a shot. I think the question should be who you don't like personally.
Setup requirements
I have my own drum kits but a provided one for convenience is sometimes necessary.
