The St. Peter Street Stompers Jazz Band was formed in 2007. The Stompers adhere to the classic jazz stylings of the original purveyors of Preservation Hall and other early jazz innovators such as Louis Armstrong; Jelly Roll Morton; and Kid Ory.
The Stompers emulate the bands that performed originally at Preservation Hall in the French Quarter NOLA!
