Squeezebox Stompers

Expect 6 multi-instrumentalists , four of us sing as well. We play a wide assortment of Americana Music: Cajun, Zydeco, New Orleans Classics, Blues, Folk, and Originals. We engage the audience and get them up dancing to our upbeat music. We ask volunteers from the audience to play the rub-board along with us.
Instrumentation includes: piano and Cajun accordions, fiddle, acoustic and electric guitar, saxophone, harmonica, pennywhistle, bass, drums, and rub-board.
We provide our own sound system and sound man for small and medium sized gigs.
We can play anywhere from 1-4 hours depending on the event.

For the past 20 years, the band has played a blend of Americana Roots, Blues, Cajun, and Zydeco music all over New England and the Northeast. We have two CDs available through our website, the iTunes store or Spotify. We're available as a duo or trio for smaller gigs and as a full six piece acoustic/ electric band for larger gigs. Our members are Boston Music Award winners. We sing, play accordion, keyboards, lap steel, fiddle, mandolin, saxophone, harmonica, guitar, bass and drums. For the overwhelming majority of events, we provide our own sound system and sound man. For venues/events where the sound is provided, we will send a stage plot upon request.
