Spunk Adams is a jazz fusion tenor saxophonist creating a sound that lives between modern jazz, soul, atmosphere, and improvisation. Known for a raw tone, expressive phrasing, and performances that move from intimate to explosive, his music blends deep musicianship with memorable moments.

Rooted in jazz language but unafraid of melody and accessibility, Spunk’s sound pulls from straight-ahead tradition while leaning into modern textures, cinematic spaces, groove, and contemporary energy. His performances are designed to feel immersive—equally at home in seated listening rooms, rooftop sunsets, festivals, and elevated live experiences.

Throughout his career, Spunk has performed alongside artists including Julian Vaughn, Lalah Hathaway, Chrisette Michele, Case, and Vandell Andrew while appearing in settings ranging from Oklahoma Jazz Festival and Meow Wolf Denver to Middle C Jazz and other live performance spaces across the country.

As an artist, Spunk continues to build a catalog that balances artistry and connection through releases including Apple Pie, PROJECT43, and Noun.. Offstage, he also co-hosts Talking All That Jazz with Dr. Amanda Adams—expanding conversations around music, culture, and creativity.
