I will always be early! I give myself plenty of time to get my gear set up, get a layout of the space, and have a discussion with you about the schedule and key moments you would like captured. I make sure to stay out of the way, but still getting the perfect shot of whatever is happening. I am also super flexible; if something happens that changes the timeline of the event, I'll adapt with it while remaining calm.
I'm Megan Veldman! I am based in Nashville, TN. I fell in love with sports and event photography in high school and love having my camera in my hand. I am always trying to top my previous work, always striving to be more creative and deliver the best images possible. I love capturing those candid moments, a smile, a laugh, a hug or handshake, or even some tears. I make images that allow people to reflect on a time in their lives and remember the emotions they felt, the people they were with, and the memories they created. I want my images to spark memories and conversations, where people can be reminded of one thing, and it snowballs the conversation into "remember when..." and hopefully, lots of laughs follow. I love my job, and I can't wait to capture those moments.
