He utilizes spoken word to motivate, empower, and agitate people towards social and emotional change. His style of poetry provides a catalyst to make each individual look deep within their selves and face those things that might be an ongoing emotional barrier in their lives.
Huggy’s self published book titled “Love, Laughter, Heartache and Pain,” is a literary work that takes the reader on a journey through his own personal trails in love and pain. In this book he shares very intimate details of his battles with heartache and deception, social and political awareness.
Through the art of poetry, Alex “Huggy Bear” Lofton hopes that social change will not be revolutionary, but evolutionary in the sense that it will become the ultimate tool to uplift and inspire humanity.
