Splick da' Groove and the Everyday People

I cannot recommend Splick da' Groove and the Everyday People highly enough! We were in a major pinch for our annual school auction and reached out to them with only a three-week lead time. Not only did they step up to the plate, but they absolutely saved the day.

From the start, they were incredibly communicative and professional, making the logistics worry-free and smooth. On the night of the auction, their versatility was on full display – they played a range of songs that appealed to everyone in the room. The band is made up of really talented musicians, and they did some awesome numbers, from a Madonna medley to Santana to Deee Lite. They had our teachers and parents –a wide range of ages–on the dance floor until the very end! If you want a band that is easy to work with and guaranteed to bring the energy, hire Splick da'Groove! They are the real deal.

We had the pleasure and honor of having Splick da' Groove perform at my daughter's wedding last weekend. She was not a picky bride, but there was one area where she held very high standards and expectations. She did not want a typical "cheesy" wedding band. Being a musician herself, she want actual accomplished "artists" who perform together in a band. After a long and arduous search, we found Splick da' Groove. We spoke to the group's leader, Eric, many times, and from the start, he was well-spoken, professional, and organized. He understood what we were looking for and he gave us great confidence that our event was important to him and he would do everything possible to ensure a great performance and a great experience for the bride and groom and our guests. When we met the band the evening of our event, they had their "game on" face and dressed entirely appropriately for our wedding. We selected a playlist of primarily R&B tunes, but they offered many other genres and they even played Footloose at the groom's request. They also learned two songs for us, for the bride and groom's first dance and the father/daughter dance. When they played the first note of the first song that evening .... we were all BLOWN AWAY. WOW, seriously WOW! The musicians are stellar, top-notch musicians. The male vocalist (Eric) and the female vocalist were as good as any R&B musicians we have heard. The moment they started playing, there was a packed dance floor and the guests could not have had a better time. This band does not just go through the motions .... they feel every song with excellent musicality; they celebrate right along with you ... and their enthusiasm is electric. In the words of the bride ... "they gave a STELLAR performance that belonged in a sold-out amphitheater... I still can't get over the fact that it was just for us and our guests! What a DREAM". Thank you so much Eric and team .... can you tell ... we are your biggest fans :)

We booked Splick da Groove and the Everyday People for a community event at Whole Foods Market on the Alameda in San Jose. The band arrived promptly and setup their space with ease. Their sound was spot on for our event and had families dancing in the breezeway for this outdoor affair. The band leader Eric was super professional in his pre-event communication and totally accommodating for our needs. He also took the initiative to move around our event with a wireless mic and play the emcee role and get people excited, which was a welcome relief as an event organizer. We'd highly recommend booking this group for your next corporate event, wedding or party.

We had Splick da'Grove and the Everyday People play at our wedding Sept 26, 2015 and they were great! We had a blast, our guests loved them. It was the right choice to book them. Debra
